The Found Cottage Mercantile YEAR FIVE 🫪🙌🏼

we were looking back at some of our booths from the last few years and had to put together a little slideshow for you all 😆

our first show was in 2022, and seeing that first booth next to where we are now is honestly WILD 😅

five years of figuring it out, changing things up, making bigger booths, bringing more stuff, and somehow always finding a way to fit one more thing in the truck 🤣

we CANNOT WAIT to share with you what we’ve been working on for this years space!

happy saturday! this upcoming week is officially time for one of our favorite parts of the year… the The Found Cottage Mercantile market in holland, mi 🥰

alex and caleb have been in market prep for months and this week all of their hard work will be headed to market 💕 in order to get our booth set up and ready, elle & l will have adjusted hours of 10-4 monday (8/31) to friday (9/4)

we appreciate your support and understanding and the store will return to regular hours on saturday 9/5! thank you all for your endless support and we are excited to once again share our booth and silly market moments with you all 💕☀️

halloween is starting to arrive at elle & l and we are howling at the moon 🌕🐺 from cutie costumes to cozy candles we have been receiving so many fall goodies and will be getting them on the floor asap!

for the last few months, i’ve been a little quieter than usual… and for good reason.

between running elle and l, growing little gatherings, and everything life has thrown our way, i’ve been working toward something i’ve wanted for a long time.

i’m officially a licensed real estate agent. 🏡🙌🏼

real estate has been on my heart for a while now, and after months of studying, early mornings and late nights i’m so excited to finally share this with all of you.

none of this would’ve been possible without the incredible people in my corner. my beautiful wife has poured her heart into elle and l from day one, and alongside our amazing manager and team, they’ve continued making the shop the special place it’s become while i chased this goal.

the more i thought about it, the more i realized this next chapter isn’t as different from the last as it might seem. at the heart of both careers is the same purpose: people. whether i’m helping someone find a home they’ll build their life in or playing a small part in the memories families make through our shop and event space, i love being part of life’s meaningful moments.

i feel incredibly grateful that i get to do both.

this is a new chapter, and i’m so excited to see where it leads. if you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just have questions about the market, i’d be honored to help—or simply be a resource.

clear your calendars, sidewalk sales start this week‼️

we have TONS of preloved goodies (from our littles of course) available including pajamas and shoes!

we still have some store fixtures (jewelry displays, etc) that we will have available as well!

shop our best sale of the year this thursday - saturday 10am-6pm

school is **almost** back in session! 🤩

….and OBVIOUSLY that means you should come by to get your littles backpacks embroidered, grab a sweet treat, make a bag charm, get that aesthetic back to school photo out of the way, and shop all our back to school new arrivals 🤪 📚

we’ll have Skye Co. embroidering backpacks, lunch boxes, or anything else you want to bring in! 🎒

light refreshments including Ice Box Brand Ice Cream Bars ice cream 🍦

a DIY keychain/bag charm bar as well as bag patches available 🌼

a free photo with our back to school backdrop (bring in your first day outfits and signs if you want!) 📚

rockford will also be hosting the chalk walk this same weekend so it’s a perfect time to bring the kids for a fun day!

we promise it’ll be a good time for the whole family! 😊
