My plan didn't involve harvest today, but it does now. 😎

Frost notice indicates 35 degree low is possible. Based on past experience, I have to expect that will hit my basil and tomatoes with where they are in the garden.

Hey Gang. So, I've been extra technologically challenged this season regarding order forms (and the down-to-the-studs remodel we've been tackling this summer). 🤓

A few of you reached out regarding tomatoes and squash and the plants are LOADED with fruit, so I was inspired to try to make a form on my phone. 🙂

In the past we've been able to get orders to Duluth, but feel less confident of guaranteeing that this year. If you're in the Duluth area and interested, please complete the form and add the note of your location and we'll see what we can do!

For 2026 we have a Roma-like, meaty tomato, ideal for sauce making and fresh salsas that we have grown in the past. These are looking to be ready early September. We will contact you when your order is ready and payment of $40 per box will be due upon receipt.

We're big on words around here. Why? Words shape our thinking and then our function (or dysfunction).

Farmer Brian recently had a 45 minute conversation with Astoria Livestock. At the end, they asked something to the effect of, "If you could tell people one thing, what would it be?"
