Osso Buco

This was such a deliciously rich and comforting meal. Definitely one of my favorite recipes I have tried in a long time.

The osso buco is braised in a delicious mixture of carrots, onions, and celery, beef stock and stout until unbelievably tender. Served with dreamy creamy roasted garlic and mascarpone polenta 👌🏻

Shakshouka for one?🤤😍

If you're looking for a healthy, delicious and cheap breakfast recipe then this is for you!

Shakshouka is a Mediterranean dish of eggs poached in a deliciously savory tomato sauce. Its so easy to make and you can eat it by its self or with bread. I decided to eat mine with some rice.

Yum!

Nothing says summer quite like Peach Pie😍😋

This was made with fresh peaches from the Rockford Farmer's market, and I spiced it up a little bit with just a touch of Kentucky Bourbon.

You can also have a little fun with your family and create some cute little cut outs to add to the the top like I did!

Now all it needs is a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

What's your favorite summer dessert??

Steak - Its whats for dinner🤤😍

I LOVE me some red meat, and this Flank Steak recipe has been a staple in my family for as long as I can remember.

When my family makes it, it is usually cooked on a charcoal grill. But, all I have is my cast iron and that worked great too!

I usually love to have some veggies on the side like roasted potatoes or green beans.

RECIPE:
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
4.5 TBSP Honey
6 Large Garlic Cloves (smashed or chopped)
3 TBSP Fresh Rosemary or 1 TBSP Dried Rosemary
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 TBSP Salt
One 2 1/4 Pound Flank Steak

Combine all of the ingredients.
If needed, trim any excess fat off of the steak before marinating.
Place the Steak in a gallon size zip lock bag and add the marinade. Make sure the marinade is covering the entire steak. Marinate the steak for up to 24 hours before cooking.
Enjoy!

Hi all!
So I know its been a while since I've posted any content, and I just wanted to give everyone a life update and explain why its been so long since I have posted any recipes, tips etc.

I have had quite a lot going on since my last content post. In late June/ early July I tested positive for COVID-19 and was down and out for nearly two weeks. I got lucky and thankfully didn't get sick enough where I had to go to the hospital, but I was still not feeling good enough to even get out of bed.
Once I was healthy I started working full time again (yay!) Which took up a lot of my time, and sadly my hopes for this page and its content got swept under the rug.
Shortly after that I moved out of my apartment and had to deal with the whole moving process which set this page back even more.

So! With all that being said, I do have a recipe coming very shortly! Its a family favorite and I'm very excited to share it with you all.😊

Have any fruit laying around at home that you're not sure what to do with? Try this delicious fresh fruit salsa! This salsa is great with chips or cucumbers, or as an addition to an entree. I love adding it to grilled chicken or pork chops with some rice.
One of the many reasons I love this salsa is because it is so versatile. You can use any fruit you would like, and it is up to you how spicy you want to make it!
Use this recipe as more of a guideline if you're feeling creative and adventurous, or use it as is!

Recipe is in the comments, but if you would like an easily printable version shoot me a message or an email and I will happily send you one.
