It is with great sadness that I relate to you all that Tyler, my friend and coworker from Arktos, has passed suddenly. Tyler was a fun and creative guy that loved the idea that the best part of being an adult is you get to choose from kid stuff and adult stuff to have fun. Mead with Bill Cipher and Gravity Falls? Absolutely.
His love for Gravity Falls spurred me into watching it, which became family time. That time around Gravity falls has stretched into so many nights of Netflix, Pokemon Go and more.
As professionals, we often got frustrated with each other. As a really good person it was easy to find a way back to peace with him. He was my sounding board. He pushed me to be a better me.
Please keep his widow and their children in your thoughts and prayers.

Last night I got to spend the evening with Jeremy Gish of Gish Copper in Grand Rapids. His grandfathers trunk of magic from the 1940's and 50's was full of wonders that we hope to turn into a good show together. For some reason I can't tag him here. His stuff is worth a look. Just remember, gnomes are my culture not your kitsch.
Next time we pass, don't be afraid to say "what's up gnomie".
