Attention fat babies! Beer City Pepper Fest is a celebration of the chili in all its forms. Think of it as an extra spicy food, music and arts festival featuring local musicians, local artists and vendors selling all iterations of spicy food.

Food trucks, chili events and more where all profits will go to supporting mental health advocates Embracing Imperfections, 4:40 and I Understand. These groups provide care for those affected by and prevention of su***de in our schools and community at large.

Musicians, comedians, foodies, and vendors will all be coming together with lively and hilarious entertainment, a spicy food contest with celebrity judges including Big Joe and Laura from Mix 95.7 and myriad opportunities to support local businesses and artisans. Fat Baby Hot Sauce founder Nate Mehren, a veteran musician himself, is thrilled at the opportunity this event will bring the Grand Rapids community: “We are excited to be hosting this event at the Intersection – because that’s exactly what it is. The Beer City Pepper Fest is the intersection of Michigan farmers, artists, musicians, comedians, and the thing that ties us all together: our love of spicy food. Being able to use our platform as a company to help raise money for these incredible nonprofits is just spicy icing on the cake!”

Hello west Michigan! We are looking to improve our garlic mincing process and looking for leads on equipment and/or facility that could help us mince it with their equipment. Details: we mince 360 pounds of fresh peeled garlic, twice a year, very flexible on timing. We could process or be there while someone else ran the machine. We can pay for services.
