My name is Darktanion, but my person calls me “Big D”. I’m a friesian stallion trained for lower level dressage and the medieval games. My person calls me a mush and likes to squish my face a lot. I live at New Horizons Ranch with the rest of my herd. I like watching over them in the pasture from my paddock that I share with my pet donkey. My absolute favorite thing to do, besides eating, is to be

adored by my “fan club”, especially the small humans, and have my picture taken. My person calls me a ham. When I arrive at an event, all eyes are on me. I am truly the big man on campus. If people aren’t looking at me, I announce my presence until they do. After all, they’ve come just to see me. My person is teaching me different tricks so I can show off even more then I do now. Maybe one day I’ll show you how I bow. But for now, I like to show how I rear up. It’s very fun and gets me lots of attention. Be sure to stop by and visit me. We've recieved several inquiries lately so I figured it'd be a good time to post a reminder. :-) Darktanion was retired from breeding in 2014. He is no longer standing at stud. Instead, at 21 years old, he is happily enjoying retirement and playing with his donkey friend, Duloc. We appreciate and are flattered that, 4 years later, people still love and admire him enough to wish to breed to him. Thank you so much for such a compliment. We do have a few D babies for sale as we are thinning the herd some more. Feel free to contact us if you're interested in learning more.
