We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our team and help keep our barn running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who values a steady, consistent schedule and enjoys working with horses in a family-friendly environment.
π Location: Grand Saline, TX
β° Schedule: 35β40 hours per week
β’ Sunday afternoon required
β’ Remaining days/hours are flexible and negotiable

Start Date: Mid-August

Responsibilities
β’ Feed and water horses daily
β’ Muck stalls and maintain clean working spaces
β’ Monitor and report on the health and well-being of horses
β’ Groom horses and maintain their appearance
β’ Turnout and bring in horses as scheduled
β’ Perform minor barn and fence repairs
β’ General barn cleaning and upkeep

Requirements
β’ Must have prior experience with horse care and barn work
β’ Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
β’ Confident in safely handling farm animals and a variety of equine breeds
β’ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Non-smoker (or work without smoke breaks- this is a non smoking facility)
Comfortable around livestock guardian dogs and working dog stock
