Yakima Valley Fair & Rodeo went well for the girls. Both were called back in showmanship and showed well. 2 lambs went custom cut and 2 were turned. (Each girl had 1 turned and 1 custom cut.)

What a dilemma to have!

Quinn is keeping Bona. Morgan decided Teide could sell and she did. They have their 4 fair lambs still here. Otherwise, we just sold all but one lamb (Inyo) and she is softly spoken for.
The down side is that we will have no lambs available for fall or winter butchering.

Rough sheared the fair lambs today for the girls and the 2 other 4-H club members taking lambs from our flock to the Yakima Valley Fair & Rodeo. The lambs are not looking too shabby. Weights range from 54 # (Denali) to 72 # with about 90 days to go. Fogo has a spot that is quite striking! Morgan is taking Fogo and Kilimanjaro. Quinn is taking Maca and Pali Dome.
