It’s been a WILD 8 years for me (30 for Ed 👨🏻‍🦰) - and I have so loved getting to know him in this way. Watching him work so hard in an industry he loves and on colors he’s deeply proud of … well, it has brought us so much closer as husband and wife. And I must say, I am DANG proud. 🥹 His new natural food colors are maybe the coolest accomplishment yet - because he had much to learn and navigate in formulating them for stability for his baking customers. And in every review on the website - it seems they’ve been received with a resounding “YAY, ED!” Which, we are both so proud of.

But we’d like to know from our friends here today, what do you think? 🌿💕

Hi Ed and Holly!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to try your new natural food coloring gels. I’m happy to share that they performed beautifully!

I did find that I needed to use a bit more color than I typically would with synthetic gels, but that was expected and didn’t pose any issues. What really stood out to me was the lack of any unpleasant smell in my icing. With another natural powder brand I’ve been using, I’ve noticed a distinct odor that made me concerned about flavor changes. With your gels, I felt much more confident that the coloring would not impact the taste of my icing, which is incredibly important to me.

I was also very impressed with the richness of the colors I was able to achieve. The tones came out velvety and vibrant, including deeper shades like red and black, which can often be challenging with natural colors.

I also experimented with mixing several of the natural colors together and was able to create exactly the shades I was aiming for. That flexibility is a huge plus for my design work.

And I have to mention, my absolute favorite so far is Sea Glass. I haven’t used it in a cookie set yet, but I spent some time playing with all the colors, and that one completely stole my heart. It’s such a beautiful shade.

I’ve attached two sets I created using your colors. Overall, I’m very impressed and will definitely be purchasing more!
