Did a quick check on the hives earlier this evening. All still have plenty of sugar bricks, and are still alive. Only a month and a half to go!

The girls are taking advantage of the warm day. All 4 hives are flying.

HIVE UPDATE: Checked on our 4 colonies last night, so far they are all still alive. Gave all of them some additional blocks of sugar, and cleared the snow away from the hive entrances. Hopefully, they make it through the next two months, which is traditional the time in winter when most colonies die.
