🤗 We are opening a limited number of our Weekly & Bi-Weekly Egg Subscriptions now that the Grimes Farmers Market is done for the year and our next batch of hens have begun laying 🤗

🚚 Our delicious pasture raised eggs are delivered straight to your doorstep weekly or bi-weekly on Mondays.

🐛 Our hens are raised on pasture, in the sunshine with plenty of fresh air, ample ability to forage & eat bugs, & are supplemented with an organic non-soy feed.

🥚 Eggs are unwashed. Unwashed eggs will last for about 3-4 weeks on the counter, depending on the temperature of your home, or for about 3-4 months in the fridge.

💵 Egg subscriptions are as follows: $12 for 1 dozen, $22 for 2 dozen, $40 for 4 dozen, and $54 for 6 dozen. They can be either weekly or bi-weekly.

Okay…so we did an unplanned thing this year… we grew some absolutely delicious rye berries 🤗🥰

🌱 what started as a beautiful cover crop for our birds turned into an experiment and we couldn’t be happier with the taste & how amazing we feel when we eat this compared to wheat.

Now we need your help - 🩵🤎

🌾 how would you like to purchase our rye?

Whole rye berries that you would fresh mill or crack for porridge?

Freshly milled rye flour to bake til your 💞’s content?

Rye sourdough bread?

Kiahs cocoa honey fermentum cookies (yes, my 4 yr old invented these & came up with the name 🥰 think hearty breakfast cookie, no white flour or sugar)?

Baking mixes? (Think pizza crust & pancake mix)

& who knows maybe some of these goods will make it to the LAST Farmers Market of the season 😊

All this rain is mighty hard on the cantaloupe but the chickens are sure enjoying the treat 🤗 they do a good job recycling the produce so we don’t have to smell rotten melons 🩵🤎

Check out our turkeys new home where they will be able to get to express all of their God-given “turkey-ness” 😊 they are so fun to watch and a beautiful gift from the Creator to help restore the soil 🙌 did you know turkeys can forage for up to 80% of their diet in a situation like this?!

Usually this time of year I am switching gears to canning 🍅’s, salsa, & sauce, this year I am trying something new and switching gears to fermenting all the things and planting a solid fall garden 🪏

These are fermented bell & snack peppers 🫑 stay tuned to see how they turn out 🤗

Also raise your hand 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ if you would be interested in a lactofermented garden veggie class on the farm 🩵🤎
