For this birthday boy— the request was Sonic but also Sonic train. After some Googling and a YouTube video or two…I think I got it! This cake is carrot cake (family recipe!) and all elements are edible. The train is made with puffed rice and details are cut from homemade marshmallow fondant.

This cake is for a 13 year old’s birthday party and based on the birthday boy’s favorite online game. The cake is strawberry with jam filling and each of the “blox” characters are made of Rice Krispie treats decorated with homemade marshmallow fondant. Happy Birthday, Chance!
