This has truly been a very busy season for us. Our USDA beef plant and custom processing facility is up and running, we have been busy with brandings, and hay season is in full swing. Haying season is tricky. We have to watch the weather, keep an eye on the development stages of alfalfa and grass, and try to cut and bale within very short windows to get the maximum nutrition in our hay and avoid rain. We have rain this weekend and that set us in motion to cut, bale, and get all the winter hay in our barns.
