Mountain Acres Farm Hi there, Mountain Acres Farm is a small family farm located out the Mountain Loop Hwy near Verlot. No contact Egg pick up. $5 per dozen.

We are just starting out and will be offering farm fresh eggs, veggies, flowers, and plants as soon as we are able. Eggs located in cooler right off the mountain loop. just after mile marker 9 on the right.

Fun fact:
The purple color on cauliflower comes from anthocyanin, a safe, natural water-soluble pigment and antioxidant also found in red cabbage, blueberries, and red wine. It is caused by sunlight hitting the developing head which triggers anthocyanin production. The tastes is very similar to white cauliflower, though it may be slightly sweeter or nuttier. This antioxident also has health benefits!

I just refreshed the veggie cooler with stuff i harvested this am. We have Green Beans $6 a lb and cucumber $1 each. I will be putting out some cherry tomatoes soon and see what else I can harvest to put out. Oh and there is also 2 dozen eggs out!

Finally got everything weighed and packaged. We have a couple of cucumbers 0.50 cents each. Red and green head lettuce $2-$5 each, some cabbage $2.5-$7 each, broccoli šŸ„¦ $3, and cauliflower $2-$4 each. Come get them while their fresh! Also, please remember to wash your veggies thoroughly as these are fresh and grown with aged chicken p**p and fish fertilizer.

I will be harvesting alot of cauliflower and head lettuce tomorrow. Make sure you get it while it's fresh.
