Meet your DINE ON THE LAND chef!

On June 20, Locavore Farm opens its 11th season with Chef Adam Allison, two-time Food Network champion, for an evening shaped by live fire, peak-season harvest, and one long table in the open air.

Tomorrow around this time, the smoker will be rolling, the music will be playing, and the farm will come alive again.

Thursday Harvest Hangs begin tomorrow at Locavore Farm — the slower, more laid-back rhythm of the farm each week.

Opening Day begins with live music by John Til and the first harvest-driven menu of the season.

On the menu:

The Opening Day Burger
Smoked beef burger, fried egg, pickled beets, basil + chive aioli, and melted Havarti on a brioche bun.

Kale Pesto Pasta Bowl
Fresh greens, herbs, and early-season farm flavor in a hearty bowl.

Pasture-Raised Pork Tacos
Served with charred chimichurri.

Rhubarb + Strawberry Crumble
The first sweet-tart taste of the season.

Food and drinks are purchased separately, so come hungry and order what sounds good when you arrive. The bar will be open with craft cocktails, wine, beer, and zero-proof options.

Order at the bar. Wander the farm. Find your place for the evening.

Some evenings stay with you long after the table is cleared.

At a table set by Secret Supper, joined by guests across the globe, last August we celebrated 10 years of Secret Suppers, 10 years of Locavore, and 100 years of Le Creuset.

Michelin Star Chef Sujan of Indienne Chicago prepared a feast that lasted long into the night filled the air with laughter and joy.

As we enter our 11th season of Farm+Table, we find ourselves reflecting on evenings like these. Evenings that remind us why we gather in the first place.

And we are especially excited to share the farm once again with Chef Sujan on September 19th for our 11th season of DINE ON THE LAND.

Here’s to another season of slowing down, passing plates, and celebrating together beneath the sunset. 🌾✨

Thursdays at Locavore are their own kind of rhythm.

Not our signature coursed Dine on the Land experience, but something more casual, more free-range, and deeply tied to the weekly life of the farm.

Thursday Harvest Hangs are built around what was just picked, gathered, smoked, grilled, and brought in from our land and from farmer friends who grow well.

It is our farm + table menu at its simplest and freshest: ultra-seasonal, à la carte, and shaped by the harvest of the week.

Order at the bar. Grab a craft cocktail, wine, beer, or zero-proof sip. Find your place at a shared table, on the patio, in the barn lounge, or on a blanket in the grass.

Let the kids roam. Visit the animals. Browse the farm shop and pop-up makers market. Listen to live music drift across the farm. Warm up by the fire as the evening settles into dusk.

Stay for an hour or linger through the night.

Thursday Harvest Hangs are an invitation to step out of the weekly grind and into the celebration of what the land is giving right now.

This is dining on the land at your own pace.
