Every harvest, every ingredient, every seat at the table brings us closer to the land and to one another.

Come experience it for yourself at our next DINE ON THE LAND on September 19 with Chef Sahil Sethi, as he brings the season’s harvest to the table in a meal rooted in place, purpose, and connection.

Come hungry. Leave rooted.

Thursday plans: handled. 🌾

Come hungry for a menu built around the best of the season—peach + shish*to wings, our Smokehouse Burger, farmhouse mac & cheese, a fire-roasted garden bowl, and brown butter peach crumble to finish.

Then stay for the sunset, the fire, and a few hours of slowing down at the farm.

We’ll save you a seat.

Some evenings are meant to be savored.

The kind where a beautiful meal becomes the beginning of something bigger: lingering conversations, new connections, and a night you’ll still be thinking about long after the last course.

On September 19, we welcome back Chef Sahil Sethi, a Jean Banchet Award nominee whose experience spans Noma, The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, ROOH, Bar Goa, Punjab Grill/Rania, Sifr, and Indienne. After joining us for Le Creuset’s 100th Anniversary Secret Supper, Chef Sethi returns to Locavore with his Sifr team for an evening inspired by Sifr’s modern Middle Eastern point of view.

Expect a menu that is transportive, layered, and unforgettable—served at our table, under an open sky, surrounded by the land that makes this experience possible.

September 19. Come for the food. Stay for the feeling.

Taste the season. 🌱

The best meals start long before they reach the table; with what’s growing in the soil, what’s being harvested that day, and chefs who know exactly how to let those ingredients shine.

This Saturday, August 22, Chef Jeff Kraus brings his craft to the farm for DINE ON THE LAND—an evening where the harvest sets the menu and the land sets the scene.

Come taste the season, exactly where it begins. 🌾

Every seat is the best seat in the house when the table is set on the land. 🌾

Come for the food, stay for the sunset, the people, the farm, and the feeling of being somewhere that asks you to slow down.

Next weekend, August 22, we’re welcoming Chef Jeff Kraus to the farm for another Dine on the Land experience. One table, one incredible meal, and a front-row seat to the land that made it all possible.

Come take your seat.

Every dinner has taken hard work to reach—the planting, stewarding,
harvesting, preparing, and setting of the table.

And some dinners take miracles.

We have experienced that dozens of times throughout our 11 seasons.
This weekend, we will gather again to celebrate the many miracles that
made setting these tables possible after severe storms, power outages,
standing water, damage, loss, cleanup, uncertainty, and sheer fatigue.

We are deeply grateful to have power and the opportunity to host again.

We are cleaning up this land for what it does best: restoring,
reviving, and renewing us through good food, open skies, and time
around the table.

Perhaps you are carrying some storm fatigue, too. Maybe the hard
things in your life are not entirely over. But somewhere between the
pain and whatever comes next, we are allowed to pause—to breathe, be
refreshed, recognize what remains good, and celebrate it together.

Maybe this is exactly what we all need right now.

This weekend, Chef Whitney Jacobs joins us for two distinct experiences:

FRIDAY: SUPPER CLUB
An intimate gathering for only twelve guests, with pairings,
thoughtful surprises, and the personal touches possible only around a
smaller table.

SATURDAY: DINE ON THE LAND
The experience that has held Locavore together for 11 seasons: the
long table, farm, fire, music, storytelling, sunset, and the
remarkable gift of gathering on this land again.

Only a few seats remain for either table. To help make joining us
possible, use code TAKEHEART26 for 25% off.

Come because you have something to celebrate—or because you need to be
reminded that goodness remains.

The hard things may not be over, but we can gather between them, take
heart, and celebrate the good things together.

Reserve through the link in our bio.

In a world that begs us to hurry, we slow down.

We gather around the table. We walk the fields. We watch the sun settle over the farm. We let good food take its time, and leave room for the conversations, connections, and moments that can’t be rushed.

And next weekend, Chef Whitney Jacob will give us two nights to do exactly that.

On Friday, August 14, she’ll join us for our intimate Supper Club — just 24 guests, one hidden table, and an evening designed to linger.

Then on Saturday, August 15, she’ll return to DINE ON THE LAND, bringing her thoughtful, progressive cooking to our 100-foot table and the land that inspires it.

Two nights. Two different ways to gather. One invitation: slow down.

Come hungry. Stay awhile. Let the farm set the pace.

One extraordinary chef. Two completely different ways to experience her.

On Friday, August 14, Chef Whitney Jacobs steps into our most intimate experience: Supper Club.

Just 24 guests. A hidden table. A location revealed only upon arrival. An elegant progressive menu with thoughtfully curated bar pairings included.

The evening begins with Sweet Corn Choux, followed by Handmade Tomato Tortellini in golden tomato consommé, Hay-Roasted Locavore Chicken with garden pepper romesco, smoked farm-raised pork with grilled Illinois peach and sweet corn spoonbread, and finishes with Prairie Honey crèmeux, chamomile ice cream, sunflower praline and burnt honey caramel.

It’s intimate, intentional and full of surprise—the kind of dinner where every detail matters and strangers rarely leave as strangers.

Then, on Saturday, August 15, Chef Whitney joins the long table for Dine on the Land—Locavore’s signature experience that has brought people together around food, story and this land for 11 seasons.

The evening is vibrant and rooted in the rhythm of the farm: a tour, live music, fire, an abundant table beneath the open sky and a shared meal.

The menu celebrates bold flavors with Jalapeño Corn Bread, pasture-raised chicken empanadas, BBQ Burnt End Tacos, farm-raised pork tamales, a cucumber, jalapeño and melon popsicle, Prickly Pear–Glazed Chicken with Mexican street corn mashed potatoes, and Corral Peach Bread Pudding. Thoughtful vegan and vegetarian courses are woven throughout.

So, how do you choose?

Maybe your schedule chooses for you. Friday or Saturday.

Or maybe it’s the experience you’re craving.

The hidden table: intimate, curated and full of surprise.

The long table: lively, welcoming and the experience that has brought people together at Locavore for 11 seasons.

Two extraordinary menus. Two unforgettable evenings. One remarkable chef.

Every meal begins long before a plate reaches the table. It starts with healthy soil, animals raised with care, and a farm that gives back as much as it takes.

At Locavore, our animals are part of the story, the land is our partner, and every Locavore experience is a celebration of that relationship. When you gather around our table, you’re experiencing the place, the people, and the purpose behind it all.

Come see what it means to truly dine on the land.

At Locavore, every DINE ON THE LAND experience is designed to slow you down long enough to notice the things that matter: vegetables harvested just hours before dinner, chefs cooking over open fire, conversations that outlast the meal, and a table full of people who arrived as strangers but leave connected.

This is an invitation to gather with purpose, celebrate the season, and experience the land through every course.

On August 15, we’re honored to welcome Chef Whitney Jacobs to the farm for an unforgettable evening inspired by the harvest at its peak. If you’ve been waiting for the right night to join us, this is it.

Come gather. Come grow. We’ll save you a seat at the table.
