The matriarch of the Michigan Byma’s will be laid to rest today. She started milking cows and keeping farm books for her father at a very young age. She was such an important part of that farming operation that she paused her schooling to work full time. After her marriage, she worked side by side with her husband milking cows. When she was relieved from those duties by her growing boys, she efficiently ran her household as well as volunteering for many organizations including Love in the name of Christ, friendship Bible study, Babies in Need and WHY society of Grant Christian School. She also worked many years at Meadowlark nursing home. Her life of faith and service will be treasured.
