There is no such thing as taking a peaceful little walk around here when you have snacks.

Suddenly everybody is your best friend.

Just another evening with the Fancy Feet crew.

We wanted a little peace and quiet in the country. Now there's ALWAYS something that needs doing! 🤣
Wouldn't trade it though! ❤️

We worked outside most of the day, but Chad had supper cooking while we worked! He marinated a brisket overnight in Italian dressing and Lud's sauce, smoked it for 4 hours, then finished it in the oven. Y'all, it was SO tender I could cut it with a plastic fork!

I heated up some crawfish corn maque choux from The Flying Pig to go with it, and let me tell you, BOTH were delicious! Good food without spending all evening in the kitchen! That's my kind of cooking!

When exactly did my babies turn into teenagers?!

Seems like yesterday these little things were tiny fluff balls, and now they're growing feathers, personalities and plenty of opinions.

This awkward little in-between stage is honestly one of my favorites. I can't wait to see how some of these babies finish out!

Y'all, I have entirely too much going on around here to be mopping floors all day! 😂

Between the chickens, the farm, and everything else we get ourselves into, somebody's gotta help with the housework! This little fella handles the floors while I go do something else!

Anybody else have a robot vacuum or mop?? Because I'm all about working smarter, not harder!

Apparently I can’t go to Stine’s without bringing home more livestock. 🐴🐮🐔🐱 Good news... these four don’t eat much, don’t tear up the yard, and nobody has escaped the fence yet.

My little Zoologee collection keeps growing, and naturally the chicken has already found herself a job at Fancy Feet.

Which one would you have brought home first?

Chicken math started with “we’ll just get a few.” Somewhere along the way, “a few” turned into this. Different colors, different personalities, different levels of ridiculousness... and somehow I know exactly who belongs where.

Chicken people, tell me I’m not the only one. How many did you START with... and how many do you have now?

Meal prepping the Cajun way! 😂

For the couple that's had WAY too much going on to stay home and cook, but still likes to EAT GOOD!

A little meatloaf, crawfish maque choux, stuffed potatoes, sausage, and some good ol' Cajun comfort food! We may not have time to cook this week, but we sure ain't going hungry!

With The O'Neal Homestead LLC – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

Apparently Elvis and Chris Farley had a difference of opinion about who runs Fancy Feet today. 😂🐔
No meeting was scheduled, no HR was present, and neither one seemed to remember that I buy the feed. 🤣
Just a little disagreement among upper management at Jenn’s Fancy Feet Farm.
