I have a list of those that will be due for trims as soon as possible after birth/leave and once he is born and I start feeling ready we will plan to schedule. My plan is too not take a full 8 week break, but we will be listening to him/my body first and foremost. I of course will annouce once he is here and healthy!

I love a little black and white agouti doeling! If you know you know... No she is not available and if her owner ever makes that decision I have called dibs 10 times over 🤷‍♀️😅...

While the trimming itself is truly amazing, another bonus is watching babies grow up in front of you, this little girl I met when she was 2 weeks old and we did her first trim today!

Attention all clients!!!

I will NOT be doing trims after October 10th. PLEASE message me before the 1st of October to guarntee a day before then. This will be the last chance to get on the schedule before the two legged baby arrives!

Also unfortunate annoucement for Benton/Lane county. I will be discontinuing service for any client I have been servicing less then 3 years. After a LOT of attempts to line up scheduling/timing/while still being reasonable priced it just does not work. I will reach out privately to my clients that will be staying on my schedule, otherwise I recommend Bres goat service(will tag in the comments). We are not affiliated so I can not give price qoutes or availability, but she is another well known trimmer that covers that area!

Most of my amazing clients already know, I myself am carrying a little 2 legged helper!

We are expecting him in about 10 weeks, and while like any life there really is no exact dates, I am TRYING to coordinate to make sure both baby/I and the hooves in my care are as taken care of as possible. Please Please do not push off scheduling any longer if hooves are due, as doing them RIGHT now gives us the most time do decide what will be best for YOUR herd while still allowing me to take care of my body. I run this business by myself so there will not be any one stepping in my place for the approximate 8 weeks I take off which will be from October 12th- December 7th(tentatively).

Remember my last post about "Sparxx"? Well today he had his second trim and we are making such good progress! We have a LONG ways too go, but his new owners are getting some good weight on him, and he is moving quite a bit better. Now that we have got a good dent in the intial work, we will do trims every 4 weeks to continue to improve his hoof. These first two trims were a lot about attacking the length, next we will continue to correct length, while also trying to shape the hooves back to a "normal".

Some mornings can get rough physically and emotionally.

This particular case, the old owners were elderly and had to let there 2 senior goats go. Upon the new owners picking them up they quickly realized this boy was long over due for hoof care. I got the call and went out this morning. This goat is a 8-10 year old, alpine cross of some sort. He needs some weight put on and obviously a lot of hoof care. Unfortunately he clearly has some athritis so we were limited on how far we got. I will be going out every 2 weeks until we get to a more manageable place, hoof/arthritis/stress all having a strong impact.

We have no clue what has happened to get to this level of health, but now his new owners are going to give him the best care possible and I am so ready to support them through this!

Unfortunately with so much moving around I took after pictures of the wrong hoof, but this gives a good idea of what we are starting with.
