BLUEBERRIES, RASPBERRIES, and STRAWBERRIES are all ready for UPICK at the Farm! It has been an amazing week of sweet berry ripening. The berries are putting on a show this year! We are open Friday and Saturday, 8 am to Noon. We have buckets available for your use. All berries are the same price. $4 per pound. 50 pounds or more are $3.00 per pound. 100 pounds or more are $2.50 per pound. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a water bottle and bug spray if needed. Plan to have a great time picking and tasting your favorite berries!

The Strawberry Patch is full of abundantly sweet, juicy berries right now. We are OPEN SUNDAY AND MONDAY, MAY 24 and 25 from 8 am to Noon for UPICK. This is a special Sunday/Monday weekend for this week ONLY. Come on out and pick your fill of the most perfectly ripened berries. Asparagus season has ended for us. We have U-PICK strawberries every Friday and Saturday 8am to 12pm. We have 5 plantings of sweet corn in the ground. The 1st 4 are up and growing well. Tomorrow, we will transplant our tomato plants and Friday our first melon transplants. Hopefully we had our last freeze.

We will be open for UPICK on Friday, Saturday, Saunday, and Monday this weekend only. Then we will return to our regular schedule of Friday and Saturdays for U Pick. We are open 8 am to NOON. Warmer days and the berries are coming in strong! Super sweet, juicy and easy to pick. Plan to pick for eating now and freeze some for later. We take cash, EBT, card, and Growers Market coupons too. May 10th was supposed to be the last chance of frost. Here it is May 19th and we had to get up and turn on the sprinklers for frost protection. In the picture that is ice forming on the pipes from the sprinklers. Erin and I met at 4am in the field to start the sprinklers to protect the berries

Oregon's Best UPICK is OPEN for Strawberries! 8 am to Noon at 5791 Lower River Rd. We take Cash, Credit Card, EBT, there are buckets available for your use. We have several varieties ripe and they are abundantly easy to pick! It is a great weekend to join with friends and family and fill buckets for the 50 pound or 100 pound price break. Strawberries are $4 per pound, if you pick 50 pounds or more the price is $3.00 per pound, and if you and your family or friends pick 100 pounds, then the price per pound is $2.50 per pound. (Combined and one payment for the price breaks, please.) This is a great way to pick enough for jam making, preserving berries in the freezer for the winter, and for sharing at gatherings. Enjoy!

We have been hard at work getting ready for opening day of U Pick! There's a lot to take care of between setting up tents and a relaxation area for hot and tired customers to frequent quality control sampling of the strawberries. Through it all our three Farm Dog Managers have made sure our work is up to a high standard! Its a good thing Rosie, Diesel, and Rolly are so dedicated! Come to the farm Friday or Saturday to get some fresh strawberries! We are open from 8:00 to 12:00 on both Friday and Saturday. We have plenty of buckets but be sure to bring drinking water and sunscreen. Strawberries are $4.00 per pound or $3.00 per pound for 50 lbs or more and $2.50 per pound for 100 lbs or more.
