This Weekend on the Farm:
UPICK: Open Friday and Saturday, 8 am to noon.
Tomatoes, $1.50 per pound or pick 100 pounds or more and the cost is $1 per pound. Cherry Tomatoes are $4 per pound. Raspberries and Thornless Blackberries are $4 per pound, 50 pounds or more $3 per pound, 100 pounds or more $2.50 per pound.

Farm Stand: Open Tuesday thru Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm. Closed Mondays.
Sweet Corn, Yellow Watermelon $7 each, Seedless and Seeded Watermelon $7, Mini Watermelon $5 each or 2/$8, Sweet Candy Onions, Cantaloupe $5 each, NECTARINES and PEACHES: O'Henry, 49ers, JH Hale, $3.50 per pound or $65 for 20 pound lug. Honey, Lavender, Apples and more.

This Weekend in the Farm Stand, Open 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday thru Sunday:
Get your freezer corn now. 24 ears for $19.20, Cantaloupe $5 each, buy one for now and one for the freezer. Chop it into chunks, freeze, and mid January or February, you have sunshine in the freezer. We have local apples, sweet candy onions, Watermelon for $7 each, 49er PEACHES, local honey, lavender, and more. We also have some Mini Melons for $5 each or 2 for $8.

UPICK, 8 am to Noon, Friday and Saturday: We have Thornless Blackberries, Raspberries, and Tomatoes! UPICK Tomatoes are finally ripening and they are $1.50 per pound for slicers, rounds or romas. UPICK Cherry tomatoes, blackberries, and raspberries are $4 per pound. Wear a hat, bring water to drink, and start early for best picking!

TOMATO UPDATE: The first flush is available this weekend for UPICK. We plant to have tomatoes in the Farm Stand mid week next week. The cost of Farm Stand tomatoes is $3 per pound. Canners will be $35 per 20 pound box. Canner might be ready in 2 weeks.

In the FARMSTAND, Open Tuesday thru Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm, WATERMELON, CANTALOUPE, Sweet Corn, Candy Onions, NECTARINES, PEACHES, Local Honey, Lavender, and more. It is the best time to preserve the harvest!
A NOTE about our TOMATOES: They are late this year. There is a beautiful crop of green tomatoes now. They are slowly beginning to ripen. We appreciate your patience as we all wait in anticipation!

We are working hard to keep the strawberry plants we planted this spring w**d free so they will make lots of juicy berries next spring! These are before and after photos of a block of Shuksan strawberries that we cultivated with Maryanne the tractor and a Hillside cultivator. Yes, many of our tractors are named! The next step in the w**ding process is to send people with hoes out to get what the tractor missed. Strawberries don't grow well if there is competition from w**ds.

Thornless Blackberry and Raspberry UPICK is open Friday and Saturday 8 am to NOON. The berries are abundant. This is the time to preserve the fruits of the season. Berries are the easiest to freeze! Please Note: Come prepared for the weather! It will be HOT. Arrive early. Wear a hat. Wear thin long sleeves and long pants. This will offer protection from the sun and mosquitoes. Bring bug repellent and plenty of water. Remember to drink water before you get thirsty in the heat.

In the Farmstand we have SWEET CORN, PEACHES, Pears, Candy Onions, Honey, Lavender, and more. Farm Stand hours are Tuesday thru Sunday 9 am to 4 pm. 5791 Lower River Rd, Grants Pass, Oregon. PRICES: Peaches $3.50 per pound or 20 pound box $65. Sweet Corn: .90 cents each, 12 for $10, or .80 cents an ear for 13 or more ears. Berries are $4 per pound, 50 pounds or more are $3 per pound, and 100 Pounds or more are $2.50 per pound.

They make great smoothies, popsicles, ice cream, pie, crisp, cobbler, BBQ sauce, and gifts for any friend, neighbor or loved one that might need a hug. On the Farm this Weekend: Friday and Saturday UPICK is open 8 am to Noon. Blackberries are coming on strong, Raspberries, and probably the last weekend for our amazing blueberries. Be sure to come out and pick for now and for your freezer.

In the Farmstand, Open Tuesday thru Sunday 9 am to 4 pm, PEACHES (yes, they are freestone) juicy, sweet, delicious. Amazing SWEET CORN, eat it fresh, freeze or can some for later! Yellow Candy Onions and Red River Onions. They are great on the BBQ, a burger, and yes, you guessed it, you can chop and freeze onions for the winter months.
