We have some HUGE NEWS!
Since our inception, Catalyst Wine Collective has been a hub for a few small winemaker-owned labels, offering the benefits of a tasting room and serving as an incubator space for our wineries to grow. It brings us immense joy to share that one of our founders, is now ready to take the next big step!

Starting in January 2024, they'll be transitioning out of Catalyst to move into the winery space currently occupied by (until the end of the year). While we'll miss having them around, we're thrilled to see them venture into this new chapter.

So what’s next for us here at the Collective, and Andy ? The mission of Catalyst Wine Collective remains steadfast. We'll continue providing a launchpad for small wineries and acting as a nurturing space for tenant wineries to explore their next steps. Exciting announcements are on the horizon (aside from this one!), so keep an eye out for those. Additionally, we're planning a send-off party for Joe and Carmen at the end of December. Details coming soon. To get updates about the big Sound & Vision Wine Co. Grand opening at 717 S. Pacific Hwy in Talent, be sure to follow and stay tuned to . You can keep up with Andy right here and . Until January, the gang is all here, and it’s business as usual through December. Th- Sun, 12-7pm. Come on in, stock up, and toss us any questions you might have.
Congratulations Sound & Vision Wine Co. on the next “album”!

Take a look into this crystal ball…🍷

France just spent 200 million euros destroying surplus wine, and it's not the only wine region facing a crisis. What explains all this bad news?

Raising our 🍷💝

Please join us in raising a glass to award-winning Oregon wine pioneer Traute Moore of Quail Run Vineyards, where the fruit for our Rogue Valley Griffin Creek wines is grown.

On April 20th, Traute passed away with family at her side. She will be dearly missed. Her contributions to the Oregon wine industry helped put the Rogue Valley on the wine map. Traute was a dear friend, passionate supporter, our winegrowing and making partner and an Owner of our winery.

Traute and her husband Don began farming grapes in the Rogue Valley in 1989. They experimented with different varieties and growing techniques to discover what best suited their southern Oregon vineyards. Their work in viticulture, experimentation, innovation and development earned the Founders Award from the Oregon Wine Board in 2010, alongside numerous wine awards. Meanwhile, the original 15 acres of Quail Run Vineyards have grown to 13 vineyards and 31 grape varietals.

In 2008, she opened South Stage Cellars, the first tasting room in Jacksonville, Oregon.

“Opening the new tasting room when she was 75 launched her into a whole new career. I’ve just always loved that,” Traute’s son Michael Moore said.

Traute and her husband Don, who passed away in 2021, passed management of Quail Run Vineyards to Michael in 2008.

Our hearts go out to Michael and the family,

Jim Bernau

Absolutely loved this article, the man about whom it’s written and the writer himself. Thank you Michael Alberty for always celebrating the amazing souls behind Oregon Wine 🍷💝

The Southern Oregon vineyard owner planted that region’s first merlot vines, and his grapes were sought out by winemakers throughout the state.
