Hi everyone,
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing some news about Crust & Crumb. After pouring everything I had into this bakery, I’ve made the difficult decision to close our doors. Multiple unforeseen circumstances made continuing and growing the business far more challenging than I ever imagined. Running a small business takes incredible resilience — it demands so much time, energy — and I now have a whole new level of respect and admiration for every small business owner out there fighting to make their dreams work.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who supported Crust & Crumb. Whether you stopped in for a fresh loaf of bread, a warm cinnamon roll, sandwich, or just to say hello — your kindness, encouragement, and patronage meant more to me than you’ll ever know. You helped turn my dream of baking homemade comfort food for my community into a reality, even if it was for a shorter season than I hoped.
I’m so grateful for the memories we made, the conversations, and the way so many of you cheered us on. This experience taught me so much, and I’ll carry that with me always.
Thank you again for believing in Crust & Crumb and in me. I’ll miss seeing your smiling faces, but I’m truly thankful for every one of you.
I will still be taking online orders, fulfilling wholesale orders and making your special occasion memorable. However, a retail side of the industry is too demanding with little ones at home.
With love and gratitude,
Kassy
(the heart, soul, and hands behind Crust & Crumb)
