⭐ Meet the Maker
Hey, I’m Lonni — the maker behind Gracefully Unhinged, where everything smells good and is held together by equal parts chaos and good intentions. I create small‑batch magnesium lotion, goat milk lotion, handmade soap, and other Gracefully Unhinged and wonderfully made products here in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
I grew up in New York Mills, MN, so being back in Minnesota after 35 years carries a familiar comfort — the kind shaped by the unmistakable heritage of living “up north.” Up until June, we called Grantsburg, Wisconsin home for four years, and prior to that South Dakota was home for about twenty. My husband’s career moved us into this new chapter. And even with all the transitions, South Dakota will always hold a piece of my heart — my kids and my grandbabies — and it will always be a place where a part of me belongs.
My brand didn’t begin with Gracefully UNHINGED. It started as The Crazy Goat Lady Shop, back when goats were my passion and a big part of my everyday life. As seasons changed and the goats moved on to greener pastures, I realized the name no longer fit the persona. Gracefully Unhinged became the new beginning — a name that reflects being slightly unhinged and full of chaos yet still overflowing with more blessing and grace than I deserve.
My Calm the Chaos Magnesium Lotion is the center of my business these days. It’s intentionally crafted for relief — whether it’s improving quality of sleep, easing muscle aches and pains, calming restless leg and foot cramps, supporting menstrual comfort, reducing anxious tension, or helping with everyday aches that come with simply being over 50.
