Yesterday we experienced our first cattle birth on the farm! ❤️

Unfortunately we had to call for emergency vet assistance because she was having complication.

Thanks to Casselman Vet for always having our back and coming out quickly to assist Louise!

Meet BABY MARSHALL! 🥰🥰

He Was upside down and backwards with feet tucked in his momma. He bounced back quickly after a hour or so!

Momma loves him and so do we!

Once the babies are off the bottle they’ll have a brand new pasture to explore as well ☺️

Hi! 👋
Some of you know me and others may not. My name is Mercedes and I am the face behind Devils Ridge Farms.

Growing up I grew up on a 5th generation dairy farm, one of the largest on the East Coast of the US. My family decided to get out of the business, but here I am living the American dream. The best part is my husband and I are now raising our family and growing our farm on my families ORIGINAL farm that my Great Great Grandparents started! ❤️

My husband is my biggest supporter and my handy man of keeping the fence and barn up to par. Our daughters, McLaren and Saleen are my little helpers and love all the animals. They make sure everyone gets petted and lots of cuddles and love daily. They’re also in charge of collecting all eggs from our chickens!

I started my little hobby farm a few years ago, but this year have expanded and made it official! This is my full time gig besides being a momma now and I’m beyond blessed.

I started with a few goats and pigs and 2 cows. Now here we are with a flock of 10 sheep, 5 goats, 5 (soon to be 6) beef cattle, and a large and growing population of chickens and ducks! 🥰 we are hoping to have pigs again soon!

We are growing our farm and we are excited to share this journey on our page!
