These tomatoes are huge and delicious! We started these Bodacious tomato seeds back in April and they are finally ripening on the vine. 🍅❤️🍅

Wrapping up today’s canning with carrot cake jam. We have 10 pints of garden salsa and 9, 1/2 pints of jam. The salsa and jam taste amazing. This is our 3rd year canning salsa and it seems to get better with each year❤️

Abundance….word for today. It’s going to be a busy weekend for canning dilly beans. I may even make a batch of salsa. If you see us out canning, please stop by and visit.

Kitchen update - renovating an old house is like peeling back the layers of an onion. The things you find during demo…It causes tears as your budget gets blown up beyond the 10% cushion you built in for those unforeseen circumstances. However, we have peace of mind knowing the electrical and plumbing is being done up to code and will keep us safe.
We still need to pick out flooring - this flooring will be going throughout the downstairs eventually, select tile for the backsplash, get quotes on the countertops… stay tuned!!!

2 days into the kitchen renovation project and it’s going well. With the room gutted out, I can start to visualize the plan that was sketched out on graph paper.

Kitchen remodel: Demo day #1! Cabinets, island and stairs all removed.

The garden is producing more than we can keep up with! We will be rolling the farm stand out in the next few days with fresh veggies, canned dilly beans, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles and salsa. Stay tuned!
If folks need basil or dill, let me know.

The house smells so good with a massive bouquet of Dill on the counter and Basil in the dehydrator. Dilly beans will be canned up tomorrow, the summer squash will be sliced, and vacuumed sealed for the freezer and I’ll attempt my first batch of cowboy candy. 🌶️
