Alright all you green thumbs, now is your time to shine!!! EVERY hanging basket left at the greenhouse is now only $10!!!!!! The price will not go any lower (our wholesale cost on JUST the baskets are about $5 each)! As you can see, some of these baskets are still absolutely gorgeous and won't need any TLC, but many of our tender annual baskets need the loving touch of those our there who like to "rescue" plants 😅 We are open all day, everyday, stop on by and adopt your new plant today 😂

Let's talk about another tuber producing powerhouse! The Canna Lily! Like dahlias, Cannas produce tubers throughout the season. These tubers can be dug up in the fall, after the first frost, and stored overwinter in a cool, dry place. The next spring you cam divide these tubers and have even more beautiful plants!!! We have these available as singles, or we have a few mixed planters left for those looking for an instant pop of color 😊

Another round of dahlias are almost ready to bloom!! These compact (12-18" height) dahlias make wonderful border flowers, or they work really well in a planter as well. We have them available as singles or planted double in decorative planters. These dahlias produce BIG blooms for a small plant!!

Are your hanging baskets suffering a bit after our recent weather? Some of mine sure are! It's not surprise that with the very warm temperatures we had, followed by lots of rain, that your petunias might be a bit leggy and scraggly. The warm temps drove super fast growth, and the heavy downpours tool a real toll on the blossoms. As a result, your petunias are probably in need of a good deadheading/and or a heavy pinch back. These two pictures are the same basket; before being pinched back and cleaned up, and the next after. Within the next 7 to 10 days, this plant will get bushier and throw out lots more flowers, leaving it happier and more beautiful than before! Give it a try and breathe some new life into those baskets! While I was in there, I went ahead and pinched back the coleus as well, to prevent it from flowering and encourage more branching.
