Seed starting is officially underway at Grit & Grace Gardens. Lost a few super hots and novelty peppers to damping off, so a couple trays are getting a redo. Running 87 varieties right now, and I’ll finish out the remaining 125 pepper varieties I’m experimenting with this year.

Tomorrow is tomatoes, tomatillos, and the slow-growing herbs. After that, the flower seeds that need cold stratification are headed into the fridge for their winter nap.

A lot of trays, a lot of labels, a lot of tiny beginnings — but SPRING is around the corner and the season is already taking shape.
