Tortillas are one of those things I get really nerdy about. If you can’t do hand made tortillas, El Milagro is the way to go. Thanks to some awesome mentors and friends at Booher's Fresh Market I got a hold of these bad boys without having to go out to Detroit.

Really looking forward to serving some great tacos at an upcoming wedding I’m excited to cater.

The beginning of this year’s Three Sisters garden. Hopi blue corn, followed by ojo de cabra pole beans, and finally squash. The ultimate goal is to make tortillas from corn I have grown in my own garden.

One of my favorite gigs the past few years has been to feed the Jacktown Vectors FIRST Robotics crew for their annual kickoff. John Riedeman is a wonderful teacher and coach. He and the other adults give hundreds of hours of their time, energy, and expertise working with students from all over Jackson.

This is an amazing crew doing amazing things. Good luck this season Vectors!
