Feel free to message us with any questions about visiting—we’re happy to help! Follow us on instagram or TikTock We have been a family business since opening our doors to customers in 1994. Customers can find live deer, trophy bucks, and neat one of a kind antiques on the self-guided tour. Price for admission is $6 for adults and two bucks for children. Customers can also hand feed the live deer.

Please feel free to call ahead of time if traveling from out of town. Being a family business our opening and closing hours may vary.

On this day 27 years ago, Milo Hanson brought his original world-record typical whitetail buck to our property to share with the public. Hundreds of people stopped by, with cars lined all the way down the road. Milo was a humble man and was always incredibly kind to us.

My first memory of Milo is from that very first visit. My parents welcomed him into their home, and my mom offered his party something to drink. Milo or his business partner said a coffee would be just fine. The only problem was that my parents didn’t drink coffee. So my mom heated up some water, mixed in French vanilla cappuccino powder, and served it to him. Milo smiled, politely accepted it in the most Canadian way possible, and drank it without a single complaint.

Milo recently passed away earlier this month. Rest in peace, Milo.

🎨 Calling All Local Artists! 🦌

This wall currently ranks last on our property :) We’re looking to create a whitetail deer-themed selfie mural on the back of the Michigan Whitetail Hall of Fame Museum and we want to feature your work!

We’re searching for a local artist who can design and paint a fun, family-friendly mural that gives couples and families a perfect photo-op moment. Think: whitetail antlers, forest scenes, or even something interactive!

If you or someone you know would be interested in quoting this project, please reach out or tag them in the comments. We’d love to work with someone from the community to bring this idea to life! As you can see in the second photo…ChatGPT isn’t quite there to help us out and we’d love to support someone local.

Hi friends! As we move into the second half of summer, it’s been one of our busiest seasons in years here at the Michigan Whitetail Hall of Fame!

We’re thinking about hosting a family-friendly evening event with a cozy bonfire, classic s’mores, and a chance to enjoy the museum grounds after hours.
