Update: I did it. The incubator is up and running for 2023 already. First chicks available Feb. 13th and weekly thereafter. Get your pre-orders in. Cream Legbars available and Bielefelders available in March. Pullets guaranteed!!!!
I’m thinking about getting the incubator ready and going for an early start to 2023!
This year we have Crested Cream Legbars available. This autos*xing breed allows us to guarantee females and they lay beautiful medium size, blue/green eggs. Pictures were taken today and are of the parent stock and their eggs. Parent stock was purchased in early 2022 from Greenfire Farms (exhibition stock). I anticipate my first chicks from this stock will be available beginning approximately February 11th and then each week thereafter (likely Saturdays) throughout the Spring and Summer.
