Sometimes (often) things don’t work out how you’d like. Unfortunately this week’s power outage led to our glycol chiller going down. A 20 bbl batch of Jester’s Privilege IPA was in peak fermentation, so that overheated and caused off flavors. Down the drain it goes.

We want to thank our customers and accounts for their patience as we get a new batch out as soon as possible without sacrificing quality. Jester’s will still be available at so please drop by this weekend and show your support.

Brewed as a collaboration with our friends at Bicycle Thief in Grass Valley, this “Cal-Talian Pilsner” is built on a very light base of pilsner malts grown in Italy and California. It uses German Mittelfruh and Mandarina Bavaria hops in the kettle and US-grown Crystal in the whirlpool as the highlight hop.

As always with our lagers, this fermented low and slow before cold conditioning in a horizontal lagering tank. Unfiltered, naturally carbonated and clarified.

Pizza Beer carries a very subtle sweet cracker flavor from the malt and a striking cedar and zingy herb hop character with subtle lemon notes.

Don’t miss Kolsch Night on May 28th at BrewHaus, our take on the traditional German Kolsch service. In addition to ice cold mini-glasses of Party Eyes that keep coming until you say stop by putting your coaster on your glass, we’re also serving oysters on the half shell and Bavarian boards (in addition to the full regular menu).

This Thursday evening at , we’re transporting you to Cologne, Germany for the triumphant return of Kolsch Night! This communal celebration features our Party Eyes Kolsch served ice cold in 20cl “stange” glasses - and we keep them coming until you say stop by putting your coaster on top of your glass.
