Drunken Oak Farm We are a family run farmstead located in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We offer ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and heritage chickens.

Snagged a couple quick photos today of the new girls on the block. These girls are being weaned and ready to start doing great things in a new home. It is so incredibly difficult to make a choice between the lovely Crystal daughters (Castle Rock Crystalline Ice). She really hit her stride this year and is still producing over half a gallon of milk a day. I don't know how this little petit doe is putting that much milk in the pail!

We have added a doe to the website. This little cutie is on a bottle and can go any time. Crystal milked half a gallon on her first test at 4 weeks fresh. The only reason we can even consider parting with a Crystal doe is because she was generous and gave us FOUR!! Grab her quick because we all love her cuddles and it will just get harder and harder to say goodbye. đź’– Grass Valley, CA

We completed our second milk test of 2026 last weekend! I was pretty happy with our results.

S’mores 3.2 lb
Myrtle 3.9 lb
Syrah 2.7 lb
Esther 3.1 lb
Crystal 4.2 lb!!
Lily (FF) 2.8 lb
Tink (FF) 3.5 lb

FF= first freshener (first time in milk)
1 gallon = 8.5 pounds of milk

Crystal out did herself this year. She has always been generous with the does…. But FOUR does!! Way to go girl. 💖💖💖💖

I knew I was keeping a buck from S’mores and Pepper but I wasn’t ready to commit to which one. So I’m biting the bullet and posting “Chip” Drunken Oak Mint Chip. He will be *B when ADGA catches up and his brother is retained and already has some dates lined up for the fall. This boy is so incredibly friendly. It will be hard to part with him. But I know he will do great things for someone else. 💙
