With the 2026 Russian River Valley vintage resting in barrel, this is the time of year we stop to take a moment to reflect. This year, we wanted to honor members of our community that have helped shape who we are today We are pleased to share the recipients of our Stewards of the Russian River Valley-Grower Award for 2026, Pam & John Bacigalupi of Bacigalupi Vineyards

Pam Bacigalupi serves as the master coordinator of the 20+ w**eries that purchase fruit from their vineyards. We know many of you may have seen Pam behind the wheel of the grape truck a time or two…

John Bacigalupi tends to the vines his parents planted 70 years ago, adapting his technique to what Mother Nature offers.

It’s not just a profession.

It’s a way of life.

Together, they are a true example of exceptional w**egrowers in the Russian River Valley. Thank you for stewarding the land for the next generation.

Russian River Valley W**egrowers would like to take a moment to remember Joe Anderson, co-founder of Benovia W**ery.

Joe and his wife Mary Dewane established Benovia W**ery in the Russian River Valley in 2005. For more than 20 years, Joe not only helped to solidify the w**ery as a premium producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the region, but he also championed Sonoma County through his philanthropic endeavors, consistently giving back to the community through local charities and fundraisers. Joe was always one of the first to raise his hand when there was a need in the Sonoma County community.

The Russian River Valley w**e industry and Sonoma County are stronger today because of Joe. We raise a glass to him and we are thinking of the Benovia family during this time.

Who says winter isn’t the time to visit? 🌦️ We can’t stop staring at this gorgeous shot from taken of the Santa Rosa Plain (one of Russian River’s six neighborhoods) in winter 2014. We’ve been seeing mornings like this lately, low clouds over the vineyards and sun fighting the fog. Come for a visit this winter. It’s positively dreamy 🍷
