We never take hunting or processing our own animals here on the farm lightly. We are always full of gratitude. Filling our freezer with Matt's buck from the other day and one of the pigs scheduled to be in the freezer.

Losses are never easy on the farm. The more you have to take care of, the more likely something goes wrong with an animal. Sadly we lost our second goat today, Lulu. ❤️
The first goat we lost was to worms, that are notorious in goats. Today, we are unsure what took Lulu. Never easy loosing something you take care of.

💥 Holy moly!! What a tasty and super healthy treat!! We did not get any successful watermelons this year, again, but the cantaloupe did great and I am so glad!! ❤️❤️

This morning Kaiden went out to the garden to harvest things for dinner, he said. 👨‍🌾 He brought in okra, cucumbers and a squash; washed them and laid them to dry. Said he was fixing dinner tonight straight from the garden 🥰 All with 0 prompting from me.

Makes my momma heart so happy to raise them this way 🙌🏻 Think we have a farmer on our hands.
