It’s almost fall. After coming home from national show my goat motivation was infinitely higher than before.
So with that said here is my 2025/26 Purebred Toggenburg breeding plan.
I will have pictures of each doe after Missouri State Fair in a few weeks.

Back available at no fault of her own due to buyer flaking out on me.

Wanting a small herd like I do, I can’t keep as many kids as I want. With that being said i have a beautiful Togg kid out of 2 year old first freshener Evies ESS Fearnot. Fearnot kidded with twin does, one has a small white patch on her forehead, and will be priced to reflect that. The other is completely correct.
Fearnot is just like all the goats in her origin herd, long, level, and wide. She has a nice front end to her and has excellent feet and legs. Her kids are still unfolding but they will be great kids. She is being slow to come into milk but her udder is super prominsing, well attached, smooth foreudder, and good teat placement.
Fearnot was bred to Moss Ridge Cal’s Jamar, my 2023 spotlight sale purchase. While I have yet to see any mature kids out of him, he himself is a wide built, correct buck with an awesome disposition.

Located in Gravette, Arkansas. Can be included on my transport route next week.

We will be on a transport run to the great state of Minnesota towards the end of April early May. Current planned stops are Kara Kahl Farm and Blissberry Nubians. From Minnesota I will head south to Southern Texas. Contact me if there is anything I can help you with!

16 days until the first toggenburg kids are due to be born here.
First up to kid is 3 year old 3rd freshening Evies Vibing Runway. Runway is bred to Moss Ridge Cal’s Jamar, my 2023 ADGA spotlight sale purchase. With such strong lines behind both of these animals it’s hard to imagine that they aren’t going to be amazing animals.

Merry Christmas from the does and bucks of Bar H Acres and myself to all of y’all.
As the end of 2024 approaches I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me and my herd in anyway shape or form, whether it be by purchasing kids, trusting me to transport your invaluable additions to your herds across many miles and states, or in my eyes the mentorship and encouragement I receive from many breeders that I look up to.

Well breeding season is basically here, and with that I guess it’s time to post about it.
The sables will be gone by then so let’s talk toggs.
I personally will be breeding 5 purebred toggenburgs. Three of which are already on the property.
Legendairy Verve’s Roundabout, my march born kid that I purchased this year will be bred to Moss-Ridge Cal’s Jamar. I am shooting for end of march kids.
Legendairy Verve’s Misty Grace, a dry yearling will also be bred to Jamar in hopes of February kids.
Evie’s ESS Fearnot, dry yearling, will be AI’d to a special buck.
Two more additions will be made in September and both of them will be bred to Jamar.
If you know the additions, no you don’t. But they are both very exciting.
