******************THANKFUL***************
Tonight I was in the barn for some time with my daughter, trying to figure out which of the doe kids would be retained. As I was sitting there on a 5 gallon bucket, the heat lamp I had plugged in next to me, burst into flames 🔥. I ran to unplug the heat lamp, blew out the flames, and sat there thinking of the horrific scene that would have surely unfolded had we not been out there at that very moment. All of this year’s babies, as well as sold does were in the barn, among other things. I thank the Lord tonight for our safety, as I do every night, but with more humility and true appreciation for his mercy. Give your loved ones and critters another hug tonight…. Because you truly never know when it could be your last time seeing them 💜
