🍎 FREE SUMMER MEALS ARE BACK, GRAVETTE! 🍎

School might be out, but lunch is still on us! We are thrilled to announce that our Summer Meal Program is returning to keep our students fueled and ready for summer fun. ☀️🦁

📍 Where: Gravette Upper Elementary Playground (Drive-thru)
🗓️ When: Monday – Thursday | May 26 – July 24
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Reminder: No meals served on Fridays.

Congratulations to Jan Dye for being named Food service Employee of the Year!

Jan’s dedication to our food service program, students, and staff has truly made a difference this year. She has shown incredible commitment and reliability, missing only one day all year — her earned free day that would have otherwise been lost.

Jan works hard every single day and always gives her best to our team and the students we serve. She is also known for making the best mashed potatoes!

We are thankful for everything Jan does and are proud to recognize her for this well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Jan!

Congratulations to one of the sweetest lunch ladies here at Gravette. Reece Murray is a very hard working young lady. I am encouraged and inspired by her. Reece will graduate high school this Saturday so we wanted to have a special celebration with her today to show our appreciation for her and thank her for working with us this year. Absolutely amazing!!!

Congratulations to Alicia Frischman on receiving her Manager’s Certificate! She has done an outstanding job this year leading her team and contributing to team building throughout Food Service as a whole.

We are so proud of her accomplishments and thankful for the hard work, dedication, and leadership she brings each day. We are excited to celebrate her earning this well-deserved Manager’s Certificate!

Lunch is all about choices! 🍎🥦

Did you know that our students get to build their own plates? We love giving them the freedom to choose what they enjoy!

To make sure their meal is complete (and qualifies as a reimbursable meal), students just need to follow the Rule of 3:

Pick at least 3 of the 5 food groups (Grains, Meat/Meat Alternate, Milk, Fruits, and Veggies).

At least one of those choices MUST be a 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable.

We encourage students to take all five groups for the best nutrition, but the choice is theirs! ✨
