We are a family owned farm offering fresh local produce year around. Established in 2009, we are located in Gray Court, SC.

Founded in July 2009, Mixon Farm offers fresh local blueberries. We offer you pick blueberries for $12.00 per gallon or pre-picked blueberries for $20.00 per gallon. Advance notice is required for pre-picked blueberries.

🫐 Blueberry U-Pick Update 🫐
We will be temporarily closing our Blueberry U-Pick field through Friday to allow more berries to ripen and to perform some field maintenance.
The field has been picked very well since opening, and most of the next crop of blueberries needs about another week to fully ripen. Taking a short break now will help ensure a better picking experience when we reopen.
We are currently planning to reopen on Saturday, weather and berry conditions permitting. We will provide an update later this week with the latest information.
The farm store will remain open, and we'll continue to have pre-picked blueberries available as supplies allow.

🫐 Blueberry Season Opens Monday, June 15! 🫐

The blueberries are ripening, and we're excited to welcome everyone to the patch.

Beginning Monday, June 15, Mixon Farm will be open for U-Pick blueberries. Come enjoy a summer tradition of picking fresh berries straight from the bush and spending time with family and friends.

🫐 U-Pick Blueberries — $14 per gallon
🫐 Pre-Picked Blueberries — $22 per gallon

We weren't expecting this, but we were able to pick several gallons of strawberries this morning!
Fresh-picked strawberries are currently available in the Farm Store for $20 per gallon while supplies last.
These berries won't last long, so if you've been hoping for one more taste of strawberry season, now's your chance!

🍓 Strawberry Season Update 🍓

It looks like our 2026 U-Pick strawberry season has come to a close.

We want to thank everyone who visited the farm and supported us throughout strawberry season. This year brought its share of challenges, from drought conditions early in the season to heavy rains later on, but we're grateful for all of our customers who made the season a success.

We may have a few pre-picked strawberries available from time to time, but supplies will be very limited.

Now we're turning our attention to blueberry season! 🫐

At this time, we expect blueberries to begin ripening around the week of June 22nd, plus or minus a few days depending on weather and growing conditions.

We're excited about the season ahead and will continue to post updates as we get closer to opening the blueberry patch.

🍓 Strawberry Update – Saturday, May 30, 2026 🍓
Our U-Pick strawberry patch will remain closed this weekend.
The recent rains caused extensive damage to many of the ripe strawberries, and we are currently having to clean the plants back to the healthier green fruit. While there are still green berries and blooms in the field, much of the ripe fruit was lost due to the excessive rainfall.
At this time, we do not expect to have strawberries available again until sometime next week, depending on how the plants recover and weather conditions improve.
This season has brought its share of challenges, from drought conditions earlier this spring to the heavy rains we've experienced recently. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we work through these conditions.
We'll continue to monitor the patch and post updates as conditions change. Thank you for supporting our family farm and local agriculture. ❤️

Strawberry Update 🍓
After all the rain, our strawberry patch is currently waterlogged. The weather this season has been unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The good news is the plants are still loaded with green berries and blooms, so it looks like we may continue having strawberries into June if the weather cooperates.
For now, we will remain closed for U-Pick until the field has a chance to dry out some. We may have a very limited amount of pre-picked strawberries available in the farm store, but availability will be extremely limited.
We’re hopeful the rain will finally let up and allow the strawberries to finish out the season strong.
On a brighter note, the blueberries are looking really good so far, and we’re hoping to start sharing more updates as we get closer to blueberry season! 🫐
