Charm Mapp, an eighth-grade math teacher at Clifton Ridge Middle School in Jones County has been named the 2027 Georgia Teacher of the Year. Mapp has more than two decades of experience in education and has been widely recognized for her commitment to student achievement, gifted education, and authentic mathematical learning.

We are incredibly proud that a G*E member has earned this prestigious recognition. Charm's achievement reflects the extraordinary work being done every day by educators across Georgia.
