As Hurricane Isaias approaches, my heart is with every couple, family, client, vendor, and venue affected by the storm.

Several weddings and events this weekend have already been postponed or canceled. I know how disappointing and stressful this is after months of planning, but please don’t lose hope—your celebration is not ruined. It may look different, but it can still be beautiful and meaningful.

Please prioritize your safety and follow local emergency guidance, including evacuation orders. No celebration is worth risking anyone’s well-being.

I’m working with my affected clients to find new dates, and anyone rescheduling because of the storm will be placed on my priority list. I’m also temporarily closing availability for new weddings and large event orders while I coordinate these changes and give my current clients the care they deserve.

I’m keeping all affected couples, families, vendors, venues, and communities in my prayers. When the storm passes and it’s safe to gather, there will still be so much to celebrate.

Your safety matters more than any date on the calendar. I’ll be here when you’re ready.

Okay, I’ve decided I’m going to have a little fun with spooky season this year. 🎃 I know this is long, but TRUST ME… read it all. 📖 There’s a little something fun at the end! 👀

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be making random spooky and fall themed cakes just because I want to play around with some fun designs, flavors, and ideas between weddings and events as I wrap up the season. AND, maybe because I also happen to LOVE fall and spooky season. 🍃🍂

Some of these will be available for sale, and some may be put up for auction on the page. So if you see one you love, keep an eye out because you might actually get the chance to take it home! 🏡

We had the best experience with a mobile groomer and I just have to share 🐾✨Doggo Mobile

From the moment they arrived, they made sure our floofy girl felt comfortable before anything else—no rushing, just patience, calm energy, and lots of love. The convenience of having everything done right at home was such a game changer, and you could tell she felt safe in her own space.

They handled her with so much care, gave plenty of pets and reassurance throughout the process, and didn’t mind having a full audience of tiny supervisors (aka our kiddos… micromanagers 101 😅). Despite all that, they were incredibly efficient—finished so much faster than our previous experiences without sacrificing quality.

Our girl has a ton of energy, but they embraced it and connected with her so naturally. You could see how comfortable she was before, during, and after. Because of their knowledge and approach, she was set up for success and had some of her best behavior yet!

Huskies can get a bad reputation for their personalities, but we’ve worked with her since she was a pup—and it showed today. Our floofy princess may or may not have been crowned their favorite husky 💕🐺

All in all: 10/10, paws down 🐾 such a PAWSITIVE experience, Highly recommend!
