We are excited to announce our first ever Soil and Manure Test Incentive! The Carter County Soil Conservation District received grant funding for 2017 Soil and Manure Testing. Any Carter County Citizen is eligible to reieceve up to 10 soil tests and 1 manure test FREE! Individuals wanting to participate in the program must come to the Carter County Soil Conservation District office Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. You will be required to identify on a map the fields, garden, or lawn that the test/tests are going to be done on. There is a maximum of 20 acres per soils test. Soil tests can be taken to Kee's Farm Service or the Carter County Extension Office.If you have any further questions please call the office at 474-5184 option 3.

All 15 barn stalls are done. Now time to clean out the hall way and the cross ties. Get the horses shod and start riding and then start the riding lessons!
