It is with Great Sadness that we announce Bradley and Shirley have been Reunited. Best Friends of my Grandma and Grandad for over 40 years. Shirley was the last of her kind. The sweetest most caring little old lady you could ever imagine. Her voice still echoes in our hearts and minds. If there was ever a doubt that there will be shorthorns in Heaven, it is no more! Our thoughts and Prayers go out to Bret and the Eisiminger family in this difficult time.

From Bret:
Shirley passed away this morning just before 5:00 am. She was resting comfortably until the end. The bacterial infection in her kidney literally out maneuvered the most powerful antibiotic medicine had to offer. She would have been 93 on the 21st of January. Until 4 years ago when she broke her hip she was only in the hospital one time, when she gave birth to me.
She was able to spend her last years living at home except for rehab on a broken hip and a short bout with the flu.!

The Dust has Settled and the Cattle have Shipped! November rolls in and we can’t help but be Thankful! Thankful for all of you, the ones who worked so hard to prep for the sale and clean up after, the consigners who entrust us to facilitate a great sale, the sale staff that work so hard to get as many eyes on us as possible, the buyers who take our genetics and grow them through their own operations, the bidders who ensure we get a fair price, and last but not least Meal Team Six who prepares and serves our favorite meal of the fall sale season! Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!
