We have a lot of new followers so I thought I would take a minute to say Hi👋🏻 and introduce myself. I’m Robyn and I am the owner of Wandering Hen Homestead in Graytown, Ohio. My business started with small batch, natural soap. Many of our soaps are made with botanicals from our gardens and honey & beeswax from our hives. I have been a beekeeper for about 11 years and currently have 3 hives. I also make pottery. Mostly hand built, but also some wheel thrown pieces here and there. I named my business after my chickens lol. I have had chickens for nearly 20 years. Years ago we had a little red hen that would run straight to the beehives to eat any bees that had been tossed out of the hives. We called her our little wandering hen and the name stuck. My husband Marc and I have been married for 32 years and we have one daughter who is my very best friend and favorite human. We have a boxer pup named Gordy and a black cat named Luna. When I am not gardening, beekeeping, making soap and pottery, I have the best full time job as a zookeeper. We have a farmstand at the end of our driveway we call The Coop where you can purchase fresh eggs, honey, pottery, soap, and so much more. You can also find our soap and/or pottery in 6 stores. I can make a post on those stores another day, but you can find them listed on my website at www.wanderinghenhomestead.com
So yeah. Hi👋🏻🙂💗
