It’s fall yall! Poor Mav doesn’t even know where to begin. 🤭 we have does mounting does, and if you drive by and hear screaming, just know, everyone is aye-ok. It sounds like someone is being murdered out here. 🤦🏼‍♀️

We bottle milk every 4 goats (2 sets of goats with our machine), so we can quickly chill our milk, to preserve the delicious flavor and prevent our milk from tasting “goaty”.

Now available! Oats and Honey cold processed lye goat milk soap.
Made from locally processed honey, tallow, and our goat milk, with organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, and organic oats! It doesn’t get any healthier than this.
This is our favorite soap for this time of year because it helps soothe our skin from the dryness that we deal with in fall and winter!
Only available at the farm for now until I get larger quantities made!

How do we know our milk is clean and safe? Every milking, we test our coliform count by placing a sample of our milk in our lab incubator for 24 hours at 32°C. By law, to be within the allowed guidelines, we cannot have any more than 10 spots come up per ML of milk in those 24 hours. These samples have been in the incubator for 48hours (top), 36 hours (middle), and 24 hours (bottom). Sometimes, if you incubate for more than the 24 hours necessary, stuff will pop up. Here you can see, it’s as clean as it gets!
