Four Fields Farm We are a live-stock farm, where you can pick up your CSA share, or just pop by for some fresh eggs and say hi!

We are a small meat farm nestled in the Great Meadows valley, and our farming philosophy is healthy, happy animals make healthy, happy meat. Our pigs live in our woods, and their non-GMO diet is supplemented with nuts, roots and their favorite, worms. The chickens are also fed non-GMO feed, and graze our protein rich pasture along with our lambs . Because our lambs only eat pasture, it takes a li

ttle longer for them to reach full size, but it is worth the wait! Our laying hens live in the 'Casa de Pollo', a custom made trailer that allows us to move the very few days so they access to new, fresh gasses and bugs, this ensures the yummiest eggs!

Deliveries for our Subscription service start on the end of May.
Spring has been a little challenging this year, with 80F deg weather then a wicked frost, that affected most of America's north east’s just blooming gardens and orchards. But our animals were tucked up warm, our mushrooms were dormant and our wheat, we planted in the Fall of 2025, so was used to the chill of winter. So everything on the farm has woken up now, and decided to grow, bloom or fruit despite the crazy weather.

Subscriptions: What are they and why should you join?

Subscriptions are our version of a CSA, this means that you sign up for a "share" or fully customizable subscription in the products we produce on our little farm. We offer monthly delivery times and dates to multiple locations around New Jersey and Eastern Pensilvania. If you would like 2 chickens, 1pack of bacon, 2 dozen eggs and a loaf of bread delivered to you at your home or one of our many drop off locations.

It is finally almost March!

The farmers at Four Fields cannot wait to see the back of all this snow. Can't wait to see how our wheat fields did under a foot of snow, or to meet our little piglets (due in April) and also, can't wait to receive our first batch of chicks in the mail. But we still have a foot of snow, so we are all stuck inside for now.

It is that wonderful time when every body puts their kilts on, heads down to Manskirt Brewery in Hackettstown, for some Haggis and a bit of a knees up!
Taking place on Sunday the 25th of January, doors open at 12pm, with the festivities starting at 3pm, when we shall pipe in the Haggis!
I make the Haggis each year for this and this year, and usually there will be a vegan Haggis provided by a fellow Haggis lover. Ryan usually makes a few big loaves of his delicious bread, plus delicious beer!

I made a mistake on the date for the subscription delivery to South Orange, it will be on Sunday the 14th of December

Please make your orders 2 days before the delivery date to ensure you get what you need for the Holidays. And remember to leave out a cooler if you will not be at home.
