Great Valley Berry Patch We are a family owned and operated fruit and vegetable farm in the heart of Cattaraugus County.

While we are most known for our ready picked and u-pick strawberries, we also offer raspberries, blueberries and a variety of vegetables. Check back here, the website or give us a call to see what's in season.

Good morning! It's a bright sunny day after the gloom and rains of the past couple days! We are open today from 9am to 8pm for upick blueberries and the first of the shelling peas. If you are looking to pick large quantities of peas, we advise you to wait a few days for more to "fatten up".

Another sunny, pleasant day for picking! We are open until 8pm today for upick blueberries and the last of the summer raspberries.

Cool morning but the sun is out and looks like pleasant picking weather today! We will be open until 8 for pick your own blueberries and raspberries. We are likely entering our final week or so for summer raspberries but the fall raspberries aren’t too far behind and look like they will be early this year! For those waiting for shelling peas they should be ready next week! We have full length pods and are just waiting for them to fatten up! We picked our first cucumber yesterday so they aren’t too far away from being ready either! The bean field is beginning to blossom as well so they should be ready in a couple of weeks!

Beautiful morning, but we did get a little rain yesterday so the paths are still a bit wet but fields are fairly dry. We will be open today, Sunday July 19th, from 9-5 for pick your own blueberries, raspberries and sugar snap peas. We will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Hopefully we get some rain today but it’s not looking promising right now. We do allow picking in the rain although we do not recommend it for raspberries. In the event of a thunderstorm we will temporarily close the fields until the danger has passed. We plan to be open from 9-8 for pick your own blueberries, raspberries and sugar snap peas.

Blue sky this morning! Quite a change from yesterday! Pick your own blueberries are now ready! Due to the weather we don’t have quite as large of a crop as usual but the back of the rows are looking very nice! We will be open from 9-8 for pick your own raspberries, blueberries and sugar snap peas.
Just an update on pick your own prices:
Blueberries : $2.50 a pound
Raspberries : $3.35 a pound
Sugar snap peas : $1.85 a pound.

Reminder! We will be closed this morning, Thursday, July 16, due to a prior commitment. We reopen this afternoon for upick raspberries and sugar snap peas.

Another hot one today! We will be open from 9-8, Wednesday July 15, for pick your own raspberries and sugar snap peas. Thursday July 16th, we will not be opening until the afternoon due to prior commitments. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

It looks like it’s going to be another gorgeous day today! We will be open (Sunday July 12) from 9-5 for pick your own raspberries. We will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Beautiful morning today!!! We will be open with reduced hours from 9-5 today, Saturday July 11, for pick your own raspberries. Blueberries and peas are not quite ready yet. Sugar snap peas we hope to open next week, blueberries in about a week and shelling peas we are still waiting for blossoms so those are going to be a while still. We have made the decision not to open the ice cream stand this year and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
