Tauke Family Dairy Farm is located 12 miles north of Manchester, IA. Tom (owner), Joanie (wife/co-owner), Molly (daughter- currently operating her own dairy farm with her husband, Kurt in Glen Haven, Wi.), Lindsey (daughter- attending University of Wisconsin- Platteville, seeking a degree in Dairy Science and double majoring in Agribusiness), and Heather (daughter- currently a junior in high scho

ol and the 2012 Delaware County Dairy Princess Alternate) are all employees and help run the family owned farm. Our family is very proud of what we do, as of right now we are milking 40 Holstein dairy cows in a 40 cow stanchion barn- twice a day. Along with dairy farming, we also operate 180 acres consisting of; corn and alfalfa. We raise our own replacement heifers, and Artificial Inseminate through Select Sires. Helle Transport hauls our milk to Associated Milk Producers, Inc. (AMPI) located in Arlington, Iowa- where Grade A milk is sold.

All the dairy cows got loaded this morning. We decided it was time to sell the cows, thanks for everything everyone has done for us to make everything as successful as it was over the years. Pictures to come.

The past week has been very busy! In the past week we've had 5 new born calves welcomed to the farm! All are healthy and doing well. Praying we all get some rain pretty soon.

We had some excitement on our farm today. A newborn heifer calf! We would like to welcome Bethany, who is from Graybil (7H8444), into our cow family. The mother Chelsea is doing great!
