Melotte Distributing is a custom meat processor and full-service foodservice distributor specializing in “center-of-the-plate” entrees. We distribute our fine products directly to both foodservice and retail channels from Milwaukee to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In addition, through strategic partnerships, we have broadened our reach throughout the upper Midwest region. Founded in
1979 by Harry Melotte, we have “carved” our niche in the marketplace as the “premier custom meat cutter” by providing the freshest, highest quality protein products cut to exacting specifications on an extremely consistent basis. Our production operation is USDA inspected and HAACP compliant. We specialize in Premium Black Angus and All Natural beef programs which are breed and origin specific. We also offer a full line of pork, poultry, veal, lamb and seafood. In addition, we offer a wide variety of appetizers, dairy, salads, soups, dry groceries, chemicals and disposables to compliment our “center-of-the-plate” focus. We will work directly with our customers to develop the right program for their individual needs and goals, and we serve each partner with the same vigor and dedication, whether they are a one-unit independent or a national chain.
