Today, we want to talk about our beloved Wine Poet, Zac. To know him is to truly love him. His presence at The Walk brought a warmth and light that can’t be replicated. Whether he was hosting Trivia Night or leading a room full of brave souls in karaoke, Zac created spaces where people felt safe, welcome, and genuinely connected.

His wonderfully quirky, lovable personality wasn’t just entertaining, it is comforting. He had a way of turning strangers into friends and ordinary nights into memories we’ll hold close.

Zac, thank you for sharing your heart, your laughter, and your beautiful spirit with all of us. The Walk is better for the joy and community you helped build, and we are deeply grateful for you.

Today we celebrate Melissa, who has been part of The Walk family for more than 10 years. Her lovely smile, warm spirit, and deeply conscientious nature have made her a steady, caring presence for both guests and staff.

As we face the difficult reality of closing our doors, Melissa has said, “It’s the people that make the place," and nowhere is this more true than at The Walk. She has connected with countless people, helping to create the sense of community that has defined who we are. And just like the bees she loves so much, Melissa has always brought a quiet, essential kind of magic, bringing people together, helping things grow, and adding sweetness to every day.

Since 2018, Megan has shared something truly special with us, her time, her heart, and her extraordinary spirit. Even with the full life and dedication of a band director, she still chose to give her energy to our winery, and we have been so blessed because of it.

From the beginning, she became more than part of the crew, she became a treasured friend. Her incredible wine knowledge, warmth, and natural ability to make people feel welcome helped create countless connections and friendships within our walls.

Megan represented the winery with such elegance and genuine passion, the same passion she brings to her students and her music. Her presence has added harmony, depth, and joy to our story.

We are deeply grateful for every moment she shared, every smile, and every bit of care she poured into The Walk.

As we prepare to close the winery, our hearts are especially full of gratitude for our GM and partial owner, Kelly. For more than a year, she has poured her heart, her energy, and her belief into this place. Her warm, wonderful smile, her positive attitude, and her genuine care have carried us through both joyful moments and difficult ones.

She truly treasured this winery. She connected with guests in a way that made them feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated. Her kindness, her strength, and her fun, uplifting spirit helped create the comfortable, special atmosphere and experience we are known for.

Today we want to shine a heartfelt spotlight and thank you on someone who has poured her passion, creativity, and expertise into every corner of The Walk, our beautiful Bistro Manager, Nora!

For years, Nora has been an essential part of who we are. Her talent for creating incredible wine and food pairings has elevated every guest experience, turning guest visits into something truly special. Her deep knowledge of wines, her innate and intuitive approach to food, and her unwavering dedication have shaped the Bistro into something we are very proud of.

It’s with broken hearts that we share this news: our winery will be closing on November 26.
This is not a decision we ever imagined having to make. We’ve poured our hearts, time, and dreams into this place, but we just can’t sustain it any longer.
What began as a dream grew into something far more special — a place where laughter filled the air, friendships were made, and memories were shared over glasses of wine. You’ve become part of our story, and that’s something we’ll carry with us always.
To everyone who’s supported us, joined our wine club, or simply stopped in to share a smile, thank you. Your love and encouragement have meant the world to us.
We’ll be open through November 26, and we’d love for you to stop by before then to raise one last glass with us. Let’s celebrate the wonderful moments we’ve shared and say goodbye the way we’ve always loved best, together.
