🇺🇸 Labor Day at Cottontail Candy 🍭

At a recent event, while I was busy spinning a cotton candy masterpiece, a woman looked at me and said, “This must be very boring.”

I was a little caught off guard—but also too busy creating something sweet to give it much thought. I simply smiled, said, “No,” and kept spinning. 😊

Obviously, she didn’t know I was the owner. But it got me thinking… why would I ever think spinning cotton candy is boring?

I get to:
🍭 Travel all over Wisconsin
🎪 Attend amazing events
🤝 Meet interesting people
📅 Choose the events I want to be part of
😊 And, best of all, see the SMILES of kids and the young-at-heart!

My job is anything but boring. In fact, sometimes I wish I were bored! 😂

What you don't always see behind the scenes is the work that happens after the event. Every machine is deep cleaned and every mechanism inspected so that when I see you at the next event, you're getting the best-tasting, freshest cotton candy I can make.

And the truth is, cleaning these machines can actually be a little dangerous. I’m working around extremely hot metal that has been spinning at high speeds, so it takes time, care, and a lot of caution to get everything cleaned properly. 🔥

It may not be the glamorous part of making cotton candy, but it’s an important part of the job—and I take it seriously because I want every treat I make for you to be safe, fresh, and delicious. 🍭🐰

So, this Labor Day, while many are relaxing, I’m still laboring away to make sure you have a great time and get to enjoy a little extra sweetness when you see me next! 🍭🇺🇸

I am proud to work hard doing something I absolutely love! 🐰

We will be CLOSED at Cottontail Candy this Saturday, but we’ll be out spreading the sweetness Sunday evening at Howard Commons! 🍭🐰
