Introduction timeā¦
Hi, Iām Katie. For the past 20 years, Iāve mostly been known as Mom. ā¤ļø Mom to 8 kids. (My inspiration for our name).
These days, Iām also known as the soap and lotion ladyā¦ and to some, the lip balm lady. š
My husband might just call me the crazy goat lady.
We live on a small farm about 20 minutes northwest of Green Bay, where our days are filled with animals, kids, chores, and a few too many projects.
We milk our Nubian goats every morning and every night, and that fresh goat milk goes into the soaps I make. We have chickens, and this year we started our very own little cow herd.
We also work with local butchers to get beef suet, which we render ourselves into tallow. Tallow has become one of my absolute favorite ingredients. Itās simple, nourishing, and I love that I can source it locally and help other farmers.
Most days youāll find me somewhere between the barn and my soap room, making soap, lotion, sugar scrubs and lip balms. Or you may find me at local markets and craft shows.
This little business has become such a fun extension of our family and our life here on the farm, and Iām so glad youāre here to follow along. ā¤ļø
